I was born in a place of untamed beauty and archaic wonder that neither me nor any other human being will ever be worthy of:

You can see myself walking up to this actual place here.. re-entering the womb, so to speak. 

(That’s me and my favourite person in the world, my brother, a bit further down Mount Pilatus overlooking the same spot)

People say my accent sounds Dutch, Swedish, some even say Irish and thank fuck no-one ever said German.

My brother and I on our way up to the top of Mount Pilatus (about 75% done) a fortnight ago after around 4 hours of climbing. Alex was behind the iPhone. Please note that I generally climb mountains in Adidas® shoes. I’m hardcore like that. And yes, these are cable car lines in the background. But those are for the Americans and the Japanese (they can fit twice as many of the latter in than the former, it’s a fact!), not for the Swiss and the English. Oh, no! :)
