Another one from Alex CF back from my dreads days. The title refers to my surname “Gerber” translating to “tanner”. Yep, all my ancestors were smelly barbarians from the Bernese Alps ripping the skin off animals for fun and/or profit. Things haven’t changed that much.

Perfect Face of the Day XLIV

This one, my dears deers is from back in 2004 and it’s a detail of a larger piece by Dave Youkovich showing one of my trademark facial expressions - the “your mutant cat did WHAT?” face.

I’m currently working on new faces (I try them out on unsuspecting grannies at Tesco’s) and have around 17 in the pipeline - including a reinterpretation of the Khaaan face. The Kara Thrace face won’t be continued, I’m afraid - it’s just so shit and the heroin addict down in Bethnal Green tube station has it already.

Hey, look. It’s me again. This was on the train to the H.P. Lovecraft exhibition at the Maison d’Ailleurs in Yverdon-les-Bains back in o-seven and I look scared because I plucked all my eyebrows the night before in a mad rage of geometric-symmetrical facial OCD.
